William Redpath

William Redpath is developer of Trauma Energetics©, an energetic trauma resolution modality. A lecturer, therapist, and special educator at McLean Hospital, Belmont, MA for 51 years, since 1995, he has maintained a world-wide client-based practice with the help of the Internet.

William’s implementation of his study of held-energy systems is, for some, radical and effective in the treatment and resolution of human trauma, including prenatal experience. The method is non-invasive, fully energetic and honours the body and mind’s natural healing abilities. It can be used to resolve life long patterns and coping styles as well as pre-verbal trauma, trauma that isn’t properly remembered and memories the client doesn’t want to talk about.

William is a colleague and contemporary of Peter Levine, but their work diverged on an important premise: Trauma Energetics© doesn’t involve catharsis as a resolution method (although a physical reaction can occur). Where Peter focused primarily on trauma in the body, William found trauma profoundly rooted in the energy field.

Trauma Energetics© is a soft, honest method that supports the client’s (and therapist’s) integrity and prevents retraumatization by it’s carefulness.

William wrote two books on the subject:

He has also written Poems and Ruminations.

William is available for sessions in person in the Netherlands during the week following the Masterclass. At other times, sessions can be done with Zoom.
